The River City approach

The best electrical work is the kind you never think about—light that sets the mood, shades that move on cue, music in every room, and power that stays on.

Where are you starting from?

Trade partner

Builders, architects, and designers who want power and control coordinated from the plans.

It starts with light.

Kitchen and bar with a glowing backlit stone waterfall island, backlit stone wall with open shelves between walnut cabinets, crystal pendant lights, and recessed ceiling lights
Backlit stone & pendants
Tall brass ladder-style chandelier with clear glass globe lights hanging in a two-story foyer with crown molding and an upstairs railing
Two-story foyer chandelier

Architectural lighting

Light, designed into the architecture.

Backlit stone, statement chandeliers, pendants, and layered recessed light—installed cleanly and ready for Lutron control, so every layer dims together.

Smart home systems

One team, from panel to keypad.

Designed, installed, and programmed by our own team. The same electricians who run the wiring install the Lutron lighting and shades, Power Shades, Sonos, Samsung Frame TVs, and Generac & Kohler generators—so nothing falls between trades.

Prefer a dedicated motorized shade system? See Power Shades. As a Samsung dealer, we also install Samsung Frame TVs with hidden power and in-wall cable runs.

A day in the home

Set once. Felt every day.

Art-style framed TV mounted flush on a soft green wall above a rustic wood sideboard, with a black wall sconce visible through a doorway
MorningShades rise, lights come up softly, and music starts in the rooms you use first.
Two-story stone and siding home at dusk with a softly uplit facade and a long curved driveway lined with low path lights
EveningOne press sets the facade, landscape, and interior lights for the evening.
Living room with a white stacked-stone fireplace, linear fireplace insert, wall-mounted TV with soundbar, and charcoal built-in shelves
StormThe grid goes quiet, the standby generator starts, and the lights and essentials stay on.

Service after the sale

The handoff is not the end of the job.

We take pride in what happens after move-in. The team that wired, installed, and programmed your home is the team you call when something needs a change.

  • The same people, years later

You talk to the electricians who know your panel, your loads, and your scenes—not a stranger starting from scratch.

  • Scenes that change with you

New routines, a new room, a keypad that should do something else—adjustments go to the team that set it up.

  • One number for everything electrical

“They got me fit in their schedule fast and the guys that came to do the job were very professional and did excellent work.”
Jeff S.
“I self-contracted our new house and hired River City for the wiring. The wiring job they did for me is the best I have ever seen. I have had several professional people comment on the excellence of their work. Kevin was lead electrician on my project; he was professional, efficient, and neat. I will call on them again, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.”
Paul R.
“David from River City Electric has been the best contractor I have ever worked with. Professional, patient, communicative, and above and beyond.”
LB Real Estate
“River City Electric has always been clutch in a time of need, delivering exceptional professionalism and unmatched knowledge. David has done work for me in the past, and honestly, I wish I had written a review then. But after this weekend, I had to. On Friday, storms swept through my neighborhood off 58 Hwy and ripped the power pole and meter right off the side of my house. I called David late in the day, fully expecting it to be a long shot. He responded within minutes, came out immediately, and stayed until the job was completely finished. He had the new meter and power pole up before EPB even restored power — and as soon as they did, my home was ready to go. Watching him work is impressive. His skill, speed, and knowledge are truly something else. I will continue to use David and River City Electric for every electrical need I have, and I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who wants reliable, top-tier service.”
Jeremy C.
“Top notch. Always responsive, on time and high quality work.”
Matt R.
“David and his team are wonderful and priced their work fairly unlike a lot of the other estimates we got. We highly recommend them and will be using them for future needs!”
Emily F.
