A scene is a saved mix of light levels—and shade positions, if you have them. Instead of five switches, one engraved button brings the kitchen up for cooking or settles the house for the night.
We place keypads where you naturally reach—at the door you use most, by the bed, at the top of the stairs—and program every scene in-house.
Lutron shades
You choose the fabric. We plan the pocket, power, and control.
Lutron also makes motorized shades. Because they run on the same Lutron system as your lighting control, one keypad or scene can dim the lights and lower the shades together—for morning light, movie night, or goodnight.
Whether you choose Lutron shades or a dedicated Power Shades system, we plan the shade pocket, power, and control wiring alongside the lighting plan—so it is all ready before drywall and trim.

Do I need new wiring for Lutron lighting control?
Not always. Many keypads and dimmers fit in existing switch locations, but some need a neutral wire, a deeper box, or loads regrouped. We check during the walkthrough and tell you what your home needs.
Should I choose Caséta or RadioRA 3?
Caséta is wireless and a natural fit for existing homes and retrofits. RadioRA 3 is whole-home lighting and shade control for larger homes and new construction, and it can also be retrofitted into an existing home, usually without opening up walls. We recommend one after seeing the home or the plans.
When should a builder or designer bring you in?
At plan review, before rough-in. That is when loads, keypad locations, shade pockets, and panel capacity are easiest to plan—and before drywall makes changes expensive.
Can lights and shades share the same keypad?
Yes. Lutron shades run on the same Lutron system as your lighting control, so one button can set light levels and shade positions together.
Will my fixtures dim smoothly?
That depends on matching each fixture with the right dimming control. We review the fixture schedule with you or your designer before anything is ordered.
