Art-style TV in a gold frame showing a landscape painting, mounted flush on a soft green wall above a rustic wood sideboard, with no visible cords—a River City Electric install

Samsung dealer · Chattanooga · North Georgia

Samsung Frame TV installation that looks like art, not electronics.

River City Electric is a Samsung dealer, and we install Samsung Frame TVs for homes across Greater Chattanooga and North Georgia. Our own licensed electricians handle the mounting, the power, and the cable runs, so the TV hangs close to the wall with nothing dangling below it.

Why it matters who installs it

A Frame TV only reads as art when the wall behind it is planned.

The Frame is designed to hang close to the wall and show artwork when you aren’t watching. That effect falls apart with a cord running down the wall, a box of components on the floor, or a TV that sits an inch too high over the mantel. The details are electrical: where the outlet lands, how the cables travel, and what the wall can support.

Because we are electricians first, we handle those details ourselves—a recessed outlet behind the TV, in-wall rated cable or conduit to your equipment, and a low-profile mount set level and at the right height. A TV power cord isn’t meant to be fished through the wall, so we do it the code-compliant way.

For builders & designers

Plan the TV wall before the drywall goes up.

The cleanest Frame TV installs start at rough-in. Builders, architects, and interior designers can bring River City Electric in early so the TV location, recessed box, and cable path are set with the rest of the electrical plan—not cut in after the paint is dry.

  • Recessed box at rough-inA recessed power and low-voltage box placed behind the TV location, so the set can sit close to a flat wall later.
  • Conduit to the equipment locationA clear path from the TV wall to a cabinet or closet, so cables can be added or changed without opening the wall.
  • Fireplace walls reviewed earlyMantel height, firebox heat, framing, and viewing angle checked against the plans before the stone or tile goes on.
  • Coordinated with lighting & audioSconces, art lighting, Lutron keypads, and Sonos speaker locations planned around the TV wall, not in conflict with it.

Art Mode & matting

At handoff we set up Art Mode with you—choosing artwork, a mat style that suits the room, and a frame finish if you’ve picked one—so the TV looks like a framed piece from the first evening.

Questions

Samsung Frame TV installation, in plain English.

Is River City Electric a Samsung dealer?

Yes. River City Electric is a Samsung dealer, so we can supply the Frame TV and install it—mounting, power, and cable runs—as one job, handled by our own licensed electricians.

Can you hide the power cord and cables for a Frame TV?

Yes. A TV power cord isn’t meant to run inside the wall, so we add a recessed outlet behind the TV or use an in-wall power kit, and run in-wall rated cable or conduit to wherever your other equipment lives. The result is a TV with no cords hanging below it.

Can a Frame TV go over a fireplace?

Often, yes. We look at mantel height, heat coming off the firebox, viewing angle, and how power and cable can reach the location before recommending it. If it isn’t a good spot, we’ll say so and suggest a better wall.

We’re building—what should happen before drywall?

Tell us the TV location at plan review or rough-in. We set a recessed box for power and low-voltage behind the TV and run conduit to the equipment location, so the TV can hang close to a flat wall later without surface raceways.

Can the Frame TV work with Sonos and Lutron?

Yes. We plan the Frame TV alongside Sonos sound and Lutron lighting and shades, so the TV wall, speakers, light levels, and window shades are wired and set up together.

What happens if something needs adjusting after the install?

Call the same team that installed it at 423-718-7085, Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4 PM. Service after the sale—re-aiming, re-routing, or adding a device—goes to the people who know your wiring.
